Besakih Temple

Besakih Temple is the biggest temple in Bali. It is the Mother Temple. It is a grand complex consisting of 86 shrines built on the slopes of Mount Agung. 70 celebrations are held there every year. A lot of major Balinese celebrations are the most anticipated and fantastic events for domestic/international tourists, but small spiritual ceremonies are also held daily. This place offers a peaceful environment with spectacular landscapes and views of rice fields, hills, mountains, and streams. When you come to visit this place, please wear modest outfits in order to respect the local culture and the sacredness of this place.
