Ciletuh UNESCO Global Geoparks
If you want to enjoy one of the wonders of natural beauty in the world, Banten province has two prominent nature reserves in the world: Ujung Kulon Natural World Heritage Site and Ciletuh Geopark. Ciletuh Geopark is a world nature reserve area named as a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2018. This geopark is surrounded by alluvial beds with beautiful scenery of unique rocks. Ciletuh is also known for its spectacular waves, ideal for world-class surfers. Cimaja Beach in the geopark area often hosts international-scale surfing competitions. The natural beauty of the Ciletuh Geopark stretches across its 126,100 hectares of mountain/beach mixed landscape, which includes waterfalls, rice fields, plantations, and beautiful marine parks.
