Meanings:
According to legend, the Angso duo batik motif is a pair of swans that are believed to have led Princess Mayang Mangurai and Orang Kayo Hitam in their quest for a place to stay or open a new country, which is now known as Jambi City. In another version, it represents the character of the Jambi people as a simple and conventional society. According to literature, this motif was invented since ca. 1400 AD.
