Batik Village in Jambi
Ariny Batik Jambi is one of the batik galleries in Jambi. They produce batik textiles that are made using stamps and hand writing. The textiles are mostly coloured by using natural dyes from leaves, roots, wood, bark and plants. The Jambi batik motif usually represents Jambi traditional house, but as time goes by, the Jambi Batik motif begins to develop in many other symbols. Some famous motifs are Kepak Lepas, cendawan (boletus mushroom), chicken, grapes, plate crabs, butterflies, durian flowers, taro, angsoduo (a pair of swans), etc.
