Buketan Bali
Bali Province – Indonesia
Meanings:
The Balinese bouquet or buketan Bali is a floral arrangement. This name is derived from the French language. It was actually manufactured in Indonesia in 1880 by a Dutch batik businesswoman named Cristina Van Zuylen. Batik is cool and exotic, and French has always been the mark of anything that is sophisticated and unusual among the Europeans in the 17th century, including the Dutch. This motif consists of an arrangement of flowers or small wreath placed along the width of the fabric, frequently with the additional decoration of butterflies and phoenixes that add artistic value to the batik artwork.
