The Release of iWareBatik Website and Mobile app (Beta Version) on June 20, 2020

The iWareBatik website and Mobile App is digital technology platforms that are created with the aim to communicate the protected cultural elements of Batik intangible cultural heritage as well as Indonesian tourism to international and Indonesian audiences. The website and the mobile app is released on June 20th, 2020. The creation of iWareBatik digital platforms is an initiative conducted by Puspita Ayu Permatasari as part of her doctoral research. This initiative is supported by USI eLab, USI UNESCO Chair in ICT to develop and promote sustainable tourism in World Heritage Sites, and LPDP scholarship.
The creation of iWareBatik digital platforms is aimed at supporting the safeguarding of Batik intangible cultural heritage and better communicating the exceptional socio-cultural values of Batik heritage”
